Lister Expands Global Sales Team with Strategic UK and LATAM Appointments

Lister strengthens global sales team with key appointments in Latin America and the UK, supporting international growth and deeper customer engagement across core markets.

Lister, the Gloucestershire-based, globally recognised manufacturer of shearing and animal care equipment, has announced two strategic sales appointments as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening its international presence and accelerating growth across key markets.

Carlos Huertas joins as Regional Director for LATAM & Mexico, while Áine Devlin has been appointed UK Territory Manager. Together, these appointments reflect Lister’s focused investment in expanding its global sales capability and deepening customer engagement across both established and emerging regions.

Carlos Huertas joins Lister with over a decade of experience in the industry with Wahl Clipper, where he held senior leadership roles across Latin America. Known for his ability to drive market expansion and scale brands across diverse and dynamic regions, he brings a strong track record in identifying growth opportunities and delivering sustainable commercial success. His expertise includes building high-performing teams, navigating complex markets, and developing long-term partnerships with clients, all underpinned by a deep understanding of regional dynamics and customer needs.

Martin Booth, Sales Director at Lister, said the company is delighted to welcome Carlos at an important moment in its international growth journey, highlighting Latin America as a significant opportunity. In the UK, Áine Devlin joins as Territory Manager, bringing a wealth of hands-on agricultural experience alongside a strong commercial background. With seven and a half years as a sales agent with Agri Lloyd, she has developed deep relationships across the farming community and a thorough understanding of the sector. Her upbringing on a hill sheep and beef farm in County Down, combined with her experience as a contract shepherd across the UK and Ireland, gives her a practical perspective on the needs of Lister’s customers. Now based in Cumbria, where she continues to farm, she remains closely connected to the industry, including active involvement in the showing community.

Martin Booth described Áine’s appointment as a fantastic addition to the UK team, noting that her genuine understanding of farming life, combined with strong customer relationships and commercial experience, makes her an ideal fit. He added that she brings authenticity, credibility and a real passion for the industry, which will resonate strongly with customers across the UK.

Áine said she is looking forward to working with the Lister team and meeting customers on the road, adding that her background in sheep farming and years of industry experience have given her a clear understanding of how important reliable equipment is to farmers and contractors. She expressed enthusiasm about supporting Lister’s continued success in the UK and building strong relationships with customers across the country.
